He was predeceased by: his parents, Arbie Lewis Boyd and Ruby Mae Boyd (Elswick); and his wife Carol Gray Boyd. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Boyd (Lisa) of Austin, Texas, Judy Ledwig (Charlie) of Victoria, Texas, Jimmy Boyd (Cindy) of Rio Frio, Texas and Joy Streitman of Dothan, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Hannah Streitman of Washington, D. C. and Matthew Streitman (Carlysle) of Mobile; his sisters-in-law, Linda Carlisle of Katy and Linda Boyd of Port Lavaca; his brothers, Norman, Waymon, Ronal and Bobby Boyd; his stepgranddaughter Rebekah Hoover; Angela Rock (Wesley) of Cedar Park, Aubrey, Wes (Little Wes) and Rebekah Rock of Cedar Park. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
