He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Morrison; his sons, Jay Cooley (Lana), Scott Cooley (Kevin Reedy) and Todd Cooley (Michelle); and his spouse Nearlie Pakebusch Smith. He is also survived by wife, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 N Glass St, Victoria, TX 77901).
