He is survived by: his wife Sally Ortiz; his children, Laura Garza Meza, Maximo Garza, Jr. (Cassandra) and Matthew Garza; his siblings, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Trinidad Silva, Alice Villa (Carlos) and Steve "Veve" Garza, Jr. (Susana); his grandchildren, Suzette Marie Adame (Albert), Gabrielle Lauren Perez (Jose), Maegan Garza, Noah Max Garza and Madisyn Joy Garza; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Marie Adame and Grace Elizabeth Perez.
