She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Valdez of Victoria, TX and Mike Bernal Jr. (Rhonda) of Victoria, TX; her siblings, Elvira Valadez (Joe), Estella Martinez (David), Janie Gonzalez and Alex Gutierrez Jr. (Janie); her grandchildren, Melissa Samudio (Michael), Marcie Garcia (Eric), David Michael Escojido, Michael Alejandro Bernal (Amaya) and Megan Gilley; her great grandchildren, Michael Samudio (Kara), Madilyn Samudio, Kobe Perry, Kyli Escojido, Kyndal Escojido and Mason DeLaGarza; and her great great grandchild Liam Samudio.
