He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice Medina Gamez; and his brother Frank Gamez, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Francisco Gamez, Sr.; his children, Priscilla Gamez and Raul Gamez, Jr.; and his siblings, Rolando Medina Gamez, Guadalupe Gamez, Irene Gamez, Sylvia Ann Gamez and San Juanita Gamez. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
