He was predeceased by: his parents, Prospero Caputo and Jennie Caputo; his wife Kathy; and his stepson-in-law Rick Smith. He is survived by: his son Richie Caputo (Ann); his grandchildren, Richard D. Caputo and Caroline Caputo; his siblings-in-law, Linda and Paul Sides of San Antonio; his niece Teri Sides of New Braunfels; his great-niece Jennifer Sullivan of New Braunfels; his stepchildren, Kim Smith and Joe Covey Morrow, III (Tammy) of Yoakum; his grandchildren, Whitney Lewis of Houston, Joe Covey Morrow, IV (Melissa) of Yoakum, Casey Morrow (Sandy) of Yoakum and Jacy Garrett (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Morrow (Julie Morrow). He is also survived by grandchildren, attending his grandsons.
