He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Coffey and Isetta Marie Hadley Coffey; his son Joseph Stephen Coffey; and his sisters, Beverly Janice Griggs (Derrell) and Sandra Ryan (Jerry).
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Patricia Finn; his children, David Coffey (Annie) and Mary Anne Whiteley; and his grandchildren, Sarah Aleshire (Vick), Julia Whiteley, Mariah Martindale (Jon), Cecilia Ruth Coffey, James Finn Coffey and Joseph Stephen Coffey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gabriel Project of the Crossroads.
