It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Oakley of Victoria, Texas, born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George DeWitt Oakley and William Della Oakley (Gann); and his brother William Harold Oakley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Oakley (Ash); his children, David Dewitt Oakley (Teresa) and Pamela; his son-in-law David Christian; and his grandsons, DeWitt Oakley, Allen Christian and David Christian.
