He was predeceased by: his parents, June Wilder Sutherland and Duncan Sutherland, Jr.; and his siblings, Duncan Sutherland III and Jeanette Salyer Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Anita Sutherland; his daughter Erica Marie Sutherland; his son-in-law Daniel Gale; his granddaughters, Emma Jean Gale and Kaydence Ryan Sutherland-Kowalski; and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca L. Salazar (Albert), Monte C. Salyer Jr. (Missy), William Earl Salyer (Lora) and James Derek Salyer Sr. (Jeanne).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the The Hideaway (1807 Stolz St, Victoria, TX 77901).
