He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Castillo and Aurora Sanchez Castillo; his wife Selina Amaya Castillo; and his children, Ysidro Amaya Castillo Jr. and Stella Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his children, Carmelita Saldivar (Gabriel) and Carlos Amaya Castillo (Sophia); his grandchildren, Marco A Gutierrez, Paul Ray Gutierrez, Adrian Castillo, Alejandro Saldivar, Nicholas Saldivar, Rebecca Saldivar, Valarie Saldivar, Monica Maun, Veronica Griffin and Bianca Castillo; and his siblings, Amadeo, Emilio, Vidal, David, Alicia, Luisa, Aurora, Inez and Noemi. He is also survived by great-grandsons; great-granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grace Funeral Home (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 N Main St, Victoria, TX 77901).
