She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Joseph Jones and Helen Rachel Tarver Jones; her brother Wendel Ray Jones; and her husband John Raymond Long (Ray). She is survived by: her children, Karen Smithson (Edward) of Coldspring and Kenneth Long (Sherri) of Mont Belvieu, Texas; and her grandchildren, Rachel Wood, Kent Smithson, Allison Bolgiano and Gracyson Long. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Vidor (350 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
