He was predeceased by: his wife Saundra "Diane" Ardis; his parents, Howard Ardis and Helen Ardis; and his siblings, Raymond Ardis, Katherine Ardis and Alice Wingate.
He is survived by: his children, Shauna Ardis of Vidor, TX and Dana Richard (Harry) of Many, LA; his grandchildren, Hillary Crimm (Gus), David Campbell, Grace Campbell and Holly Van Dorn (Nicholas); and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Caroline, Rylee, Olivia and JJ.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you simply take a moment to go fishing, share a good meal, or spend time with family; just as David loved to do.
