She was predeceased by: her husband Jody Ray Briggs; her son Bruce Mason Stewart; her brothers, James and Jack Jonas; and her parents, Frank Jonas and Edith Jonas.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Scott Briggs (Gina) of Orange, Texas, Leah Shae Doss (Daniel) of San Antonio, Texas, Sondra Stewart Long (Wayne) of Vidor, Texas, Captain Justin Ray Briggs (Heather Jole) of Bridge City, Texas and Jamie Michele Briggs of Bridge City, Texas. She is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
