She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Creighton and Edytha Forest; her husband Edward J. Richard of Vidor; and her children, Van Chavers and Rebekah Neese.
She is survived by: her children, Forest Barber (Wayne) of Port Neches, Seaborn Chavers (Debbie) of Kentucky and Belinda Norman (Morris) of Bridge City; and her stepsons, Michael Richard of Florida and Stephen Richard (Donna) of Vidor. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
