He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Junior McClendon and Doris Leonard Rockey; and his siblings, Timothy McClendon and Brenda McClendon. He is survived by: his children, Constance Hindman, Colton McClendon (Sydney) and Dustin Forrester (Angel); his grandchildren, Logan, Lillian, Bryson and Thomas; and his siblings, Tony Forrester (Terressa) and Shelia Newman (Troy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Silver Oaks Baptist Church (16460 FM 1442, Orange, Texas). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the King Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Silver Oaks Baptist Church, an institution that was dear to his heart.
