He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Lovina Nelson; his parents, Frederic Nelson and Vary Nelson; and his children, Lisa and Jason.
He is survived by: his children, Garett Nelson (Rachel), Michael Nelson (Jennifer), Katie Williamson (George) and Jeff Nelson.
