He is survived by: his wife Julia "Judy" Cooley Wyche; his daughters, Sonja Higdon (Jack), Jennifer Freeman (Timothy Freeman) and Deedra Hankins; his grandchildren, Grant Westmoreland, Lauren Bruney, Wilson Higdon, Ella Hankins, Sarah Higdon, Savannah Freeman, Brittany Knight, Logan Freeman, Hunter Freeman and Preston Freeman; and his great grandchild Hollis Bruney.
