He was predeceased by: his brother Adolph Vargas; and his grandparents, Herman P. Medina, Vicente and Hermina Vargas. He is survived by: his father Alberto Vargas Sr. (Alejandra Guerra); his wife Albina Ledesma-Vargas; his daughter Marisol Vargas; his siblings, Senaida Vargas and Angel Vargas; and his grandmother Yolanda S. Medina. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, mother-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-laws, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
