He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Lopez Leyva; his children, Maria D. Mollen (Fred), Maricela Leyva (Hilario), Gerardo Leyva, Juan Manuel Leyva, Alfonso Leyva and Norma Patricia Leyva; and his siblings, Jesus, Felicitas, Miguel, Eduardo, Ernesto and Enrique Leyva.
