He is survived by: his wife Maria Garcia; his children, Elvira Oviedo (Edward), Elia Aitmerim (Said), Elida Araujo (Joseph), Rene Salas (Monique), Ralph Ortiz, Ruben Ortiz (Anne), Ron Ortiz (Laura), Randy Ortiz (Mary), Robert Ortiz (Crystal) and Juan Mendoza (Marion); his siblings, Yolanda Mendoza, Ralph Garcia and Aurora Martinez; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Girela, Irma Garcia, Santiago Sanchez, Andres Sanchez, Graciela Sanchez and Charlotte Gonzales.
