She is survived by: her children, Linda Gail Tyus and Glynn Ray Tyus Jr. (Lisa); her granddaughters, Jana Schaeffer (Chris) and Katie Hart (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Kaylin, Hattie, Kennedy and Hayden; her sister Mary Neal (Garland); and her niece Garla Montez.
