She was predeceased by: her parent Katie M. Chatman; her siblings, Leonard Chatman and Evelyn Chase; and her grandchild Yaki Chatman. She is survived by: her children, Keith Chatman and Sarah Chatman; her grandchildren, Aiisa Brooks, Kelli Walker, Tina Walker, Ashley Bean, Chad Chatman and KeAsia Chatman; her great grandchildren, Eric, Justin, Aleeyah, Akeria, Darren, Taylor, Jaleigh, Kason and Jelly; her great great grandchildren, Tameir, Trevari, Jermany and Syven; her siblings, Roy Chatman (Renee Chatman), Delois Jones (Robert Jones) and Patrick Fairley (Michelle Fairley); and her aunt Ava Watson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, surviving siblings, her special auntie, lifelong friends, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and many devoted friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Living Word Church of God in Christ (1005 Dunbar Ave, Waco, TX 76704).
