He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mary Ray-Duckett; and his mother Gina Kaye Ray. He is survived by: his father Ricardo Vera; his wife Katherine "Kari" Ray; his stepsons, Dane and Xander Meyer; his sister Kayla (Raul "Rudy" Escobar Sr.) of Waco; his nieces and nephews, Alayna, Lilyanna, Rhianna, Olivia and Raul "Baby Rudy" Escobar; his brother Ricardo Vera Jr. (Heather Beatrice) of Victoria; and his nephews, Ricardo Vera and Liam Vera.
