She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Gauer. She is survived by: her children, Carey Gauer Quick (Danny Quick) of Salado and Clark Gauer (Misty Gauer) of China Spring, Texas.; her grandchildren, Rebekah (Steven Kilpatrick), Stephen (Maddie Quick), Andy Gauer, Caleb Gauer, Jacob (Jaryn Quick), Abby (Tim Lawrence) and Corrie Gauer; her great grandchildren, Ellee, Zaniya, Gideon, Titus, Jack Quick, Aila and Rose Lawrence; her sister Phyllis Herrington (Howard Herrington); and her sisters-in-law, Rita Nehring, Charlene Gauer and Betty Gauer.
Charles laid his life down for Carol when Alzheimer's took her daily life from her.
