She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kerbow and Nettie Kerbow (McMullen); her son David Spear; her daughter-in-law Tracy Spear; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Spear and Darrell Sonnier.
She is survived by: her husband James Spear of Waco; her children, Kimberly Spear, Deanna Hobbs and Alan Spear; her grandchildren, Courtney Spear, Shawn Hobbs, Lindsey Hobbs, Melissa Hobbs, Amanda Hobbs, Sara Hobbs and Katlyn Spear; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Samuel, Bradley and Noah Hobbs; and her sisters, Georgia Spear, Melba Sonnier and Pamela McMullen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
