She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard John and Rosemary Neumann (Murphy); and her husband Phil Gerik. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Gerik (Melissa) of Kennedale and Pam De Stefano (James) of Houston; her grandchildren, McKinley Gerik, Mason Gerik and Margaret "Maggie" De Stefano; her siblings, Tom Neumann (Susan) of Bellingham, WA, Tim Neumann (Roxann) of Houston and Cheryl Kemper of Franklin, LA; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Gerik (Carolyn) of Robinson, Mike Gerik (Cyndi) of McGregor, Karen Bittner (Vern) of Midlothian and Ruth Gerik of Arlington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in Waco or St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West.
