He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Whitmire and Eleanor Roppolo Whitmire of Houston; his sisters, Catherine and Rosemary Whitmire; and his great-niece Morgan Legg.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Beth Kelly (Justin Kelly); his grandchildren, Ember, June, Corbin Charles and Sarah Drake (Caleb Drake); his great grandchildren, Drew, Blair and Jamison; his sister Mary Whitmire Gravley (Bert Gravley); his nieces and nephews, Gennie Price (Jason), Christine Legg (Eddy) and Shawn Whitmire (Carrie); and his close friend Linda Barnett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of any kind be made to Carter BloodCare in honor of Chuck's dedication to blood and plasma donations over many decades as one McLennan County's largest volume donors.
