With sadness, we share the passing of David Nathan Groves (Waco, Texas). David, born on July 12, 1942, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember David for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. David’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Groves and Martha Groves; and his sister Ann McAnear. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughter Caitlin Hoover (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Eli, Molly and Sadie Hoover.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rosemound Cemetery (3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX 76706).
