Simer of Edmond, OK.; and his brothers, Lawrence Thackston of Skidmore and David Prather of Barksdale, Texas..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Waco New Road Church of Christ (3100 S New Rd, Waco, TX 76706). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Davidson Cemetery (1182 Fm, Gatesville, TX 76528).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the new road Church of Christ in Waco, Texas.
