We announce the death of Edna Long of Waco, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 86. Edna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Strange and Essie Strange. She is survived by: her daughter Essie Yvonne; her husband George R Long of Waco, Texas; her children, Yvonne Williams (Larry) of Arlington and George Long (Casey) of Ector, Texas; her grandchildren, Marcus Williams, Jaleesa Williams, Ariel Green (Stephen), Kylie Lee (Adam), Keaton Long and Lucasey Long; and her great grandchild Addison Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
