He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Chapman; and his brother Buddie. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Chapman; his wife Kandi Chapman; his children, Chase Chapman (Kelleigh) of Waco and Chesley Chapman of Waco; his stepsons, Jacob Skains (Michelle) of Axtell and Kalob Skains of Axtell; his brothers, David Chapman and Steve Chapman (Debi) of China Spring; and his grandchildren, Cash Chapman, Ava Skains and Remington Skains.

Memorials may be made to H.O.T. Junior Golf Academy.
