She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Heitmiller and Pauline Heitmiller (Roth); her husband Vance N. Willis; her siblings, Harry Lee Heitmiller and Allene Ashleman (Heitmiller); and her daughter Kelly Layne McClain Stanford (Willis).

She is survived by: her daughters, Vana Lynn Smith (Willis) and Laura Lee Schag (Willis); her grandchildren, Ryan McClain, Caitlyn McClain and Whitney Stanford; her nieces, Mitzi Urbanosky (Heitmiller) and Myrna Jezek (Heitmiller); and her nephew Eddie Ashleman. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels Waco, 501 W Waco Dr, Waco, Texas (mowwaco.org).
