He is survived by: his wife Patsy Jo Benton; his children, Vicki Linney (Tommy Linney) and Terry Benton (Elva Benton); and his brother Keith Benton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Burleson Memorial Park (490 Memorial Plaza, Burleson, TX 76028).
