He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Martin Staas and Lena Henrietta Staas (Schaeper); and his son Steven Dewayne. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Carla), Tracy (Camila) and Janine Emanuel (Steve); his grandchildren, Kelli Richardson (Cody), Tyler Staas, Rusty Adcox (Leah), Brandon Staas and Garrett Staas; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Presley, Camden, Kynlee, Corbin, Hailey and Ronin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in Harvey's memory.
