We are sad to announce that, on September 16, 2020, at the age of 91, Helen Hurtado (Waco, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Hurtado to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fabian Duron and Julia Duron; and her siblings, Richard, Joe and Mary (Ascension Hurtado).

She is survived by: her brothers, Antonio (Mary), Alec and Louis; her children, Mary Elizabeth (Rob), Michael and Gilbert; her grandchildren, Miguel (Yuli), Kathryn, Marina and John; and her great grandchildren, Alejandro and Mateo.

All COVID-19 directives will be followed; facial covering and social distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the various ministries at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church, 315 Jefferson Ave., Waco, TX 76701.
