He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Dargan Brooks, Sr. and Narine Peterson Brooks; his sons, Marcus James Brooks (Jenna Brooks) and Wesley Morriss Brooks (Paige Brooks); his wife Shelley Louise Morriss Brooks; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Hannah, Josie, Caleb and James Brooks; his brothers, Jeff (Teresa Brooks), Joey (Paula Brooks) and John (Donna Brooks); and his sisters-in-law, Molly Morriss and Lucy.
