He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Wagoner Hooks and Tommy Harris; Darlene Pullen Harris and Brenda Harris. He is survived by: his children, Carl (Vesta), Cheryl (Arnold), James, Barbara (Clarence) and Wayne (Annie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carver Park Baptist Church (1020 Herring Ave, Waco, TX 76704).
