She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Bordovsky and Rosalie Bordovsky (Pechacek); her husband John Kasik Jr.; her son Kevin Kasik; and her sister Betty Swaner.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Kasik of Rockport, Jason Kasik of Frisco, John Kasik III of Waco, Amanda Gilson (Sean) of Edmond, OK and Mona Kasik of Dallas; her grandchildren, Hannah Leutwyler (C. J.), Ashlyn Kasik, Bradley Gilson and Bennett Gilson; her great grandchild Evelyn Leutwyler; and her siblings, Charles Bordovsky (Christine), Jim Brodovsky (Dale), Harold Bordovsky, Wendel Bordovsky (Khaki) and Lisa McLeskey (Rusty). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead, Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
