With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Ray Sudderth of Waco, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Amelia Poole Sudderth. He is survived by: his children, Mark Sudderth (Margaret) of Fort Worth, David Sudderth of Waco and Sara Shippey (Bryan) of Austin; his granddaughters, Darla Madrid (Anthony), Anna Sudderth, Martha Sudderth, Faith and Ellen Shippey; and his great grandchild Caleb Madrid. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mission Fund of First Presbyterian Church of Waco, Meals on Wheels, Caritas of Waco, or a charity of your choice.
