He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Alfred Parker and Maggie Juanita Parker (Davis); and his stepson Steven Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Parker; his children, John Samuel Parker (Kamil Parker), Kailla Parker, Felicia Parker, Emily Parker, Liana (Brian Robinson), Megan (Lee Hartvickson), Heidi (Chris Belle), Danna (Dale Duke) and Vickie Chapman; his sister Deborah; and his brothers-in-law, Les Nelson, James Klipstine and Jerry (Kathy Klipstine). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David are suggested by the family to be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Groesbeck.
