In the vast expanse of eternity, John Gilbert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Gilbert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arley Plaska Wheeler and Ruby Pearl Spivey; his uncle Joe Spivey; and his aunt Joan Spivey. He was also cherished by 2 nephews, 1 niece, and many other cousins, family members and friends.
