In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue McCarthy and Johnny McCarthy; and his sister Karen McCarthy. He is survived by: his daughters, April (Jason Derrick) and Shannon (Luke Illerbrum); and his stepchildren, Tiffani (Evan Tindell), Katrina (Johnny Haug) and Ross (Naya Laurel). He is also survived by stepdaughter, and 12 beautiful grandchildren.
