It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny C Martinez (Waco, Texas), who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Casillas; and his siblings, Nacho Martinez, Mary Hernandez, Antonia Reyes and Alfonsa Rocha.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marisa Sliva (Darren), Monica Smith (Darrel) and Marion Palomino (Axel); his niece Andrea Almaraz; his grandchildren, Brandon Sliva (Jamie), Dara Sliva (Rogelio Altamirano), Cianna Palomino, Myah Palomino and Johnny Palomino; his great grandchildren, Marcos Altamirano and Liliana Sliva-Altamirano; his siblings, Joe (Marina), Santos, Bernardo, Irene and Anita (Martin); and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Johnny and Ayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.

All COVID-19 guidelines will be followed; limited seating, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.

Memorials may be given in his honor to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
