He is survived by: his wife Marta Loa Ochoa; his children, Johnny Ochoa Jr., Rose Ann Ochoa, Frank Loa (Sandy), Tony Loa (Brandy), Connie Loa Aguilar (Candance), Priscilla Pate (Audie), Mary Loa Duncan and Rudy Ochoa (Michelle); and his siblings, Lupe Ochoa, Emma Camacho, Angelina Gonzales and Susan Perez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
