She is survived by: her husband Jim Haston August; her daughters, Paulette Wilhite (Robert) and Paula Farmer (Paul); her siblings, Nellie Green and Roy Kurtz; and her grandchildren, Tracy Mathis, Robin Wachtendorf, Gwen Parmer and D. L. Babb. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
