He is survived by: his significant other Antonia Yanez; his granddaughter Sandy Scott; his son-in-law Daniel Tagle, Sr.; his children, Jorge Yanez (Huda), Jaime Yanez (Dolores), Alvaro Yanez (Linda), Blanca Castilleja (Ed) and Aida Scott (Michael); his grandchildren, Mandi, Brandy, Rosa, Diana, Thomas, Alexandria, Kandy, Sarah, David, Paul, Bradley, Sally, Charity, Daniel Jr., Deanna, Morgan, Diane, Patricia and Priscilla; his adoptive daughter Cenovia Salazar; Iris, Ruben Sr. and Eric. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Funeral Home (6623 I-35, Robinson, TX 76706). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Park (6623 I-35, Robinson, TX 76706). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Funeral Home (6623 I-35, Robinson, TX 76706).
