He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Miller and Iola Ambrose Miller; his sister Patti Miller Marolf; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Marolf and Tom Gracia; and his in-law Abner Aaron.

He is survived by: his wife Jana Aaron Miller; his sister Roxann Miller Gracia of Napa; his daughters, Gretchen Miller of Chesterfield, Adriane Miller of Springfield, Lisa Lux (Stuart) of Sonora and Jennifer Engle (Garrick) of San Angelo; his grandchildren, Kami Lux, Kyler Lux, Kasey Lux, Nathan Engle and Robin Engle; and his great grandchild Coe Lux.
