He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest G. Poehls and Olga Poehls; and his children, Cheryl Fuller, Michael Poehls and Becky Sue Poehls.
He is survived by: his wife Anacorita "Anna" Luban Poehls; and his children, Joe (Ruriko Poehls) and Domilyn (Michael Madraso). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
