It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis W. Rooks (Waco, Texas), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lewis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Ella Lewis Rooks and Wilfred K Rooks. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Rooks; his grandchildren, Peyton and Callahan; his former wife Regina Rooks; Terry.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the Scottish Rite Hospital under Lisa Rooks name.
