She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco Aguirre and Beatriz Aguirre; her husband Armando G. Virgen; her children, Armando Virgen Jr. (Ruth) of Temple, Cynthia Patena (Luiz) of Waco, Debbie Shores (Dexton) of San Antonio and Reuben Virgen (Rosemary) of Bethany, Oklahoma; and her brothers, Frank Aguirre, Fred Aguirre, Jesse Aguirre, Agustin Aguirre and Armando Aguirre. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
